About Internet-Sales-Agency:
Internet-Sales-Agency.com is a group of internet business and e-commerce specialists with core capabilities in sales, marketing, and visual communication both online and in traditional media.
One internet guru calls it the "Deep dark secret #5: You need to work with people who are in the business, not with people who are in the business of talking about the business."
Couldn't agree more. As founders and developers of several start-up companies and increasing number of sales-oriented web sites, we have operating experience, export/import experience, search engine marketing (SEM) experience, experience with PPC campaigns, combined with relationship marketing skills for successful online sales.
Our inspirational model is a Vancouver, Canada company that operates 100+ web sites selling high margin products in 11 consumer and business sectors. It's a privately owned, debt-free company with PPC budget alone of $1 million. They did it in 4 years with a customer base of 25,000!
What makes our company different from many web site developers:
1. We are not simply web consultants or web designers: From our own growing number of web sites (30+ by end of 2005) we sell across time zones and borders. We live and breathe online sales ourselves. As much as we sell our creative and technical skills, we also sell our online sales experience.
2. We understand the customer development cycle: Awareness, Comparison, Transaction, Reinforcement, and Advocacy and how the stages apply to online sales. To us, a sale is just the beginning, not the end. We have experience in trade show selling, door-to-door selling, direct selling, and real-life personal selling -- and that's exactly what online sales is: one-on-one, one visitor at a time. We aim to create lifetime customers through creating a sense of community, through e-mail campaigns, customer surveys, opinion polls, backend offers, to mention a few. We want to keep our visitors.
3. One car style, one home layout, one movie, one overcoat does not fit all: Neither does on style of web site. We design sites that are tailored to your customer psychographic profile: From our experience, one style of site does not fit all. The site architecture and content and the style of communication need to be tailored to your target audience. Our aim is to create sales-effective web sites that are purposeful in design without sacrificing the sales message or Search Engine Optimization.
4. We are a creative leading-edge multimedia resource: Increasingly we use leading-edge multimedia presentations, flash magazines with audio, narrated brochures as supplemental content to straight html so-loved by search engines. We NEVER build entire sites in Flash because they are invisible to search engines.
5. Web commercials, online and traditional customer support: We have the equipment and in-house production capabilities for future of the web: web infomercials, internet commercials, TV production, DVDs, customer support videos, multimedia presentations, and print media from full-color magazines, tabloid newspapers to brochures and slim jims. Click Here for an overview (opens new page to our KRIN.communications video site).
6. We employ 217+ traditional marketing tactics: While we understand internet sales and Search Engine Marketing, not all businesses can leverage internet presence effectively, we have 20+ years of traditional sales, marketing and advertising agency experience:
"For a small Ontario manufacturer, we started a simple newsletter in February. He was selling about $1.3 million at the time. We wrote about his products intelligently, educated, informed, made it funny, drew cartoons -- by Christmas -- 9 months later -- his sales were $3 million. The president took me out to lunch and confessed that it was the first year they actually made a profit. Merry Xmas from us."
Three different ways we can help you reach the global village marketplace:
OPTION 1 -- Increase site visibility:
We optimize the site, often re-designed for Search Engine Marketing. Additionally, we create sales conversion tools, such as web site commercials, instructional videos, customer support documents, slide shows, flash presentations, self-help knowledge databases, and web press releases. Subsequent web site administration, maintenance, updates and SEM is done by you. One-time fee in the $3000-$9000 range.
Email us at info@internetsalesagency.com
OPTION 2 -- Increase and maintain internet visibility and sales conversion: Because of the increasing complexity in obtaining and maintaining high natural rankings, many clients opt for us to update and maintain their sites. We manage subscription list, e-mail programs and special promotions, management and budgeting of click-thru advertising, weekly and monthly web site updates. We can bill you hourly or set up a retainer agreement.

OPTION 3 -- Risk-sharing Partnership: At the heart of Internet Sales Agency is "venture marketing and risk sharing projects". Modeling venture capital firms that invest their own money in promising start-ups, ISA will invest time and money in your internet business to become a strategic partner in your online sales.

How can a small company create multi-million-dollar online sales? Not only is it possible, it is being done every day!
From the desk of John Kumpunen
Monday, 31 January, 2005 -- 8:55 am
Dear Internet Business Friend,
The Amazons outsource to Fry Inc. to develop and host their web sites for a couple of million, but how can a smaller company create multi-million-dollar online sales?
Not only is it possible, it is being done every day -- the market is really THAT big! A small business can quadruple their sales with relative ease. Here are some of the common problems and solutions for small business online sales:
1. You have a web site, but no traffic.
2. You have traffic, but no sales.
3. What's the psychology of online sales.
4. Growth through Multiple Internet Businesses
1. You have a web site but no traffic?
The reality is that internet business is growing so rapidly (50,000 new domain registrations a day) that even the most comprehensive search engine has indexed only an estimated 16% of the internet content. All together they have managed to spider only some 40% of all pages.
Millions and millions of pages exist in the black hole of cyberspace, 64% of web pages have not been indexed by ANY search engine. It's hard to generate traffic if no one can find you. And one way to make sure that search engines never find you is to use Flash sites. Invisible!
What we can do for you: We improve site visibility by rewriting the pages to rise up to top 5 (we prefer 2nd and 3rd positions) on search engines on selected key word phrases. Budget and plan pay-per-click campaigns on up to 40 PPC search engines. Create affiliate link relations with complementary PR4 sites. Opt-in email, customer surveys, backend offers, and tie in online sales to your traditional communication with your customers.
Additionally, we may create sales-conversion tools, such as web site commercials, instructional videos, customer support documentation, flash magazines, and web press releases.
Budgeting: We are price-sensitive to the budget constraints of smaller businesses and work very efficiently, and can provide an optimized web site, internet marketing strategy and tactics package including a corporate video in the $3000 to $9000 range.
- special consideration will be given to not-for-profit organizations and to groups working with clients with physical and/or mental disabilities and special needs.
E-mail John from this link to discuss how to create multiple web sites and optimize them for search engine marketing. Tell about the current (or future) customers, products, services, value-added services you plan to implement.
The internet is a small-business opportunity you should not miss: What's truly unbelievable about the internet business is its enormous potential: You can reach fast-growing 812 million internet users (as of Oct. 2004) with relative ease. And the real market is 20 … 50 … 100 bigger because people buy hundreds of products a year.
2. Have traffic but no sales?
If your web site is poorly targeted, you get useless traffic but no sales. Hits really don't count, what counts is sales conversion.
The critical question is: How many unique visitors can your site convert to sales? And better yet, how many of those visitors will become your lifetime customers?
Web site errors won't stop people from shopping, they just won't shop with you. Here are a few technical problems that can kill a sale: Tedious flash intro with animated geometric shapes. Distracting outside links that cause visitor loss. Faulty or wrong navigation flow for the presentation. Sales message is split into several pages. Content is not relevant. Wrong products and/or wrong presentation. Too many click opportunities to different pages, sales message is lost. Sales message is not long enough to create a buyer state. Web site contains no useful information. Unclear purchase options, no return policies, and no guarantee. Pages not optimized for variety of connection speeds (you need the first page up in 6-10 seconds on a 33K modem). Add to that the fact that 50% of visitors abandon the sale before completion = no sales.
What we can do for you: One size does not fit all. You must understand the psychographic profile of your target audience, understand their needs, use "resonance theory principles" and use tested selling sentences to create a sense of trust and a valuable relationship. Follow up with visitors to nudge to become lifetime customers. Assess your online and offline competition and differentiate your company. With each key word phrase, your site will come up with 100 potential competitors. Why would they want to choose you?

It took radio 38 years to reach 50 million users, television
took 13 years, internet took 5 years. Now, the internet business
is estimated at 812 million users around the global village and growing rapidly. Internet will be bigger than television, radio, magazines combined. Already it is the number one choice
for on-demand content. And that's the big secret of web sales.
3. The psychology of online sales: one-on-one relationship building in 58.1 seconds.
Joe Average in North America spends 49 minutes reading the newspaper, he watches television for 2.2 hours, surfs the internet 3.36 hours a day at work and at home, visits 151 sites a month, and on the average, gives a web page 58.1 seconds of his time!
How can you sell anyone anything in 58.1 seconds? Well, you can't. But building a relationship with the web site visitor can pave the way to lifetime relationships.
Demonstrate that you understand their industry and their problems. Provide a sense of community ready to help. Provide useful information. Try to create interaction with the visitor that fosters relationship building. As R.D. Laing might have put it: "I like the way you like me".
"Sometimes I feel that to sell online is like
one-on-one sales to someone who is standing
behind a black wall and wants to go
somewhere else in 58.1 seconds."
Ultimately, online sales no different from any other type of sale: Visibility creates familiarity, familiarity creates trust, trust creates sales -- it has been like that since the Sumerian sheep-trading days.
Even the current online sales technology affords multiple ways to convert a faceless web site to a more meaningful sales environment. Concepts we work with are: Quality face time, live chat intercept, self-help knowledge base, community building, back-end offers, e-mail campaigns, customer surveys, opinion polls, and many others.
E-mail John from this link to get ideas how to convert web site visitors to lifetime customers.
4. Growth through multiple internet businesses.
Internet business sales will exceed trillions, the global village marketplace will be more popular than television, newspapers and magazines combined -- already it's the medium of choice for on-demand products.
For a small business or a medium-sized business, the internet is the most powerful direct marketing machine ever devised. Online sales are about meeting a need in a niche market. A good small business strategy is to create keyword optimized pages for products and services that have reasonable search volumes.
And it never amazes me how simple and fast testing different offers, different pages, different key terms is. Changing the landing page can quadruple your business (like it did for one of our sites). Using PPC campaigns, you can control what you sell and how much you sell and when you sell. It can be as simple as that -- like a faucet. And I speak from experience of actual online sales.

Happy selling,
